Our Story

Founded on the Rugged Spirit of the Mountains

Founded on a passion for the Western lifestyle, Cowboys and Angels began as a dream to bring a curated selection of quality Western wear to the Tehachapi community. Owner Joanne Nicks envisioned a boutique where traditional Western character meets contemporary style — from classic leather boots and hats to modern apparel and home décor that reflects the soul of the region.
Now rooted in the heart of downtown Tehachapi on South Green Street, the boutique has become more than a retail destination — it's a gathering place for the "Country Living" spirit, built on community, small-business pride, and a shopping experience that feels like visiting a friend.
